Welcome to our 2024 exam season!
Every year we look forward to our dancers sitting their Exams, showing their hard work and achieving the next level in their dance years!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY AND MAKE NOTE OF ALL DAYS/DATES AND TIMES FOR THEIR EXAMS.
EXAM REHEARSALS: Saturday 8th June - Sunday 9th June 2024 (Includes Exam Private Lessons & Extra Class Practices)
EXAM WEEK: Sunday 23rd June - Tuesday 25th June 2024
Location: 163 Apirana Avenue, Glen Innes (Our new Studio Location!)
Our Exam Rehearsals are for our dancers to be extra prepared for their Examinations. They complete a full run through, in full uniform/hair etc in front of one of our teachers and receive feedback. They then have the last of their weekly classes to finish preparing and to be fully ready to sit.
Please note, some classes have a scheduled ‘Extra Practice’ which is for the classes who may need extra catching up due to students being away, or the larger workloads to get through during their weekly classes. We strongly encourage all students in these classes to attend these important practices.
Our Exam Week is during weekdays and many exams are during school hours. Students must arrive at the Studio completely ready with hair, makeup and uniform on. We will then assist with pinning on exam numbers and hair accessories before they warm up.
STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR REHEARSAL TIME AND AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR EXAM TIME. WE ARE UNABLE TO WAIT FOR LATECOMERS AND STUDENTS RISK BEING UNPREPARED IF THEY ARE LATER THAN THIS.
