I am aware that RAW Dance will send me an invoice via email at least 2-4 weeks prior to the start of the upcoming term. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED IN THE CONTACT #1 FIELD IN THE PARENT PORTAL. If I wish to re-enrol into the upcoming term, no action is required after my initial enrolment. Priority placement is held. However, I understand that my placement is only held if my account is paid by the due date. I am aware that after the due date, all unpaid students are released from the roll by the computer system to make way for new enrolments/ class transfers students. I am aware that there is a $15 administration charge if I re-enrol after the final due date having been released from the roll, and I am aware that class placement is dependent on availability. I understand that all public holidays are observed and are accounted for within the fee structure. Cancellation within two weeks of commencement date incurs a booking fee of 2 weeks of classes. Make up lessons will be given, for sickness only, if you notify the Academy prior to the start of the lesson. These are limited to two per term. Payment preference is by direct bank transfer. Any cheque payments to 'RAW Dance Ltd' please. There is a $25.00 returned cheque charge for any dishonoured cheques returned by the bank.

I understand that if any of my contact information should change during the course of the school year, especially my email address, I will contact the studio to provide this information for billing, mailing and contact purposes.

I am aware that there are no refunds ONCE CLASSES HAVE BEGUN unless due to medical reasons (and with a medical certificate). I understand that RAW Dance will not issue refunds for missed classes nor early withdrawal during a term. Students are encouraged to make-up class/es in the event of an absence. Make-up classes must be taken within 30 days of absence. I understand that cancellations within 2 weeks prior to the term starting will incur an administration charge of $25.

I understand that it is compulsory for syllabus Jazz and Hip Hop students to sit examinations/medal test in term 2 (fee additional and billed in Term 2) - the fee is dependent on the level, examination fees start at $90. The studio runs exam rehearsals in a weekend leading up to the examination to help prepare students for the real assessment and to provide some feedback. We have a positive attitude toward examinations and encourage the students to enjoy the experience. This is accounted for within the exam fee. The examinations/medal test will be run between 9am - 5pm on weekdays (school hours) and weekends, usually in one of the last weeks of Term 2. Dates can be found on the website. An examination is between 30 minutes - 1 hour duration and students enter the exam room in groups of up to 8 at a time.

Students who participate in the annual show in Term 4 are charged a show/costume fee (fee additional and billed in Term 3 (50%) and Term 4 (50%) - approximately $100 including gst in total). This fee is non-refundable if the student decides not to participate, due to costumes being ordered in Term 3. Unfortunately costumes cannot be ordered for students who have not paid their show/costume levy and fees for Term 3 by the deadline date at the end of Term 2. The Performance is OPTIONAL and students can choose not to participate however they must notify the Studio PRIOR to Term 3.

I am aware that uniform is compulsory for all students (with the exception of Adult classes). New students to the Studio are required to have the uniform after one term of dancing. Uniform is different for the various dance genres and this information and pricing is available in the studio shop.

I give permission to RAW Dance and its owner/staff to seek medical treatment for the students listed above in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. In the fields above, I have declared any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or conditions and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health.

I understand that students are filmed for our annual performance dvd, and photographs are taken as a record of concert groups. Students may also be photographed dancing at workshops or at the studio as a record of an event/ workshop by an authorised parent or staff member. Use of this material is shown only in RAW Dance locations such as our gallery in our website, show dvd or Facebook/ Instagram. Photos taken are for studio-related audiences only and are for the studio enjoyment. I give permission for my student to be photographed or filmed in these events. If I do not wish for him/her to be photographed or filmed, I will not participate or take part in these events and my son/daughter will remove themselves from any filming situations.
